Once again, Lin deftly takes inspiration from his Chinese heritage with prints inspired by the unique artistic movement of Chinoiserie. Showcasing a whimsical and romanticised interpretation of Chinese motifs, Lin inevitably brings his own modern spin to a culturally charged artistic movement:

“To me, Soirée is a journey into the intersection of cultures. It's not just about intricate patterns or exotic motifs; it's a celebration of history, craftsmanship, and the enduring allure of East-meets-West creativity."

The colour palette shines as soft pinks, buttery lemons and powder blues mingle with vibrant scarlets, mustard yellows, Morandi greens and rich tangerine, creating a visual feast for the senses. Monochrome has a moment of irreverence, with roses and textures taking centre stage amidst classicism.

An ode to the era, floral prints are celebrated in hydrangeas, camellias, peonies and pear blossoms. Elegant silhouettes are delighted by playful beading in wildflower and cherry patterns and embroidered citrus. Tailoring is reimagined in a-typical Lin fashion, where oversized blazers pair with pleated skirts and micro-mini skorts.

Ornate techniques take the floor, with intricate beading, delicate embroidery, appliqué, and hand-stitched three-dimensional florals. Perhaps most spectacular is the joyful representation of roses, created with skilled fabric drapery, worn as neckties, adorned onto hemlines, necklines, and entire mini dresses.
